I am the voice of the voiceless: Through me, the dumb shall speak; Till the deaf world's ear be made to hear The cry of the wordless weak. And I am my brother's keeper, And I will fight his fight, And speak the word for beast and bird, Till the world shall set things right. ~Ella Wheeler Wilcox
If only Elsa could talk, perhaps we could solve the mystery of how she ended up on a busy street during rush hour with a broken leg. Her injuries indicate that Elsa was probably hit by a car, but how did she wind up in the street to begin with? Elsa's life was saved, thanks to the selfless act of a woman who took a few minutes out of her busy day to rescue her from traffic. Following 5 weeks in a cast, Elsa can now run, jump and play just like any normal pup her age.
Spending time in a cast, our little Elsa has become quite the Diva. She is sweet and loving, and playful with a devilish twinkle in her eye. She not shy about wanting your attention. After all, she's a little Princess and we are all just here to serve her. Elsa does well with other dogs and absolutely adores people. She's getting a little late start on her manners, but is already house trained, crate trained and will sit for a treat. Her favorite activity is climbing up in your lap for a little cuddle and nap. And stealing stuff off the coffee table when you're not looking!
Elsa comes with a warning: If you come to visit her, be prepared for her to steal your heart away. Are you ready?
Application, references and home visit required.
All KPRR rescued dogs go to their new homes fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered. Each newly adopted dog comes with an ID tag, leash, collar and puppy starter kit.
