Description:

The twinkle in Joey's eye says it all.  This is one all out, 100% full bore party animal!

Every once in a while we get a dog in rescue who has never experienced pain, suffering, neglect or abandonment.  Joey is one of those dogs.  He was a much-loved member of his family who wanted the very best for him when their circumstances changed, and they have trusted us with the task of finding Joey the perfect home.

This little devil doesn't do anything halfway.  When he plays, it's racing around the yard, leaping, bouncing, everything at top speed.  And when he sleeps, you're likely to find him with all four feet sticking straight up in the air, tongue hanging out and snoring to beat the band.  He has a positive, joyful and happy spirit, a bright mind, but an admittedly short attention span.  Well, there are just SO many things to see, to do, to explore, who wants to 'sit' or 'stay'?  What fun is that?

If you are very active, have patience, a good sense of humor and prior large dog experience and are willing to invest the time and energy to work with this diamond in the rough, you will be rewarded with one of the very best companions you'll ever know.  Although Joey is VERY friendly, he may be a bit much for children under 10 and small dogs.

If you think you're up to the challenge, ready for the most fun dog you'll ever see, then Joey's just dying to meetcha!
